Following on from the government’s announcement to close all non-essential services we went into periodic panic stations and then a wave of relief washed over us. We have struggled for weeks now about what to do as far as keeping our community safe.
We were relieved because the burden of choice was taken out of our hands however we then discovered that Beauty was deemed an essential service In Stage 1.
Normally and under different circumstances we would 100% agree and we would like to consider ourselves a haven for our team and our clients but in this moment we have made a different choice.
We can not in good conscience continue to keep our doors open.
For you, for the vulnerable, the elderly, the immunosuppressed we do this. For our staff, for their safety, we do this.
From 4pm on Wednesday the 25th of March we will be closing our doors until further notice.
During this time we will be working behind the scenes, reimagining, reinventing and reframing our business.
We will be contacting every client individually who already has a booking in the two weeks following the closure.
Everyone who has paid a deposit, that deposit will be placed as a credit on your file. For people booked in after two weeks from closure we will be in contact over the next couple of weeks.
Our online store will remain open and we will be taking DMK orders via email. Please be patient with us as we work through this time.
We will come through to the other side bigger and better then before. We will be keeping you all updated but will be staying off social media where possible to maintain our own mental health.
Please continue to support small business where you can. Shop online, shoutout on socials, order takeaway, buy vouchers and most importantly be kind!
We love all of your faces and your guts.
